Dr. Aytuğ Büyükatak completed his mandatory one-year legal internship under the supervision of the President of the Turkish Bar Association and received his LL.M. degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam. After working as a legal advisor at a state-owned oil distribution company in Ankara, he moved to Istanbul and began working at a law firm ranked in Legal500. He has been practicing law since 2009.

He primarily advises individual and corporate clients from the Gulf Region on real estate investments in Turkey. His areas of expertise include real estate acquisitions, project development structuring, and zoning disputes. He has been involved in almost all real estate transactions handled by our firm. He represents numerous high-profile individuals from the Gulf Region, as well as significant clients including controlling shareholders and board members of family businesses. In the last two years alone, the total value of transactions he has been involved in, solely in the real estate acquisition field, has exceeded USD 500 million.

He received his doctorate with his dissertation titled "Transfer and Limitation of Management and Representation Powers in Joint Stock Companies". He leads our firm's investment advisory activities and serves as the lead counsel in mergers and acquisitions. He is currently advising on two separate mergers and acquisitions with a total value of approximately US$200 million.

Dr. Aytuğ Büyükatak is also a lecturer at Yeditepe University, teaching real estate law to master's and doctoral students.

He is a member of the Hague Academy of Private International Law and a congress member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club.
